Granger, after he continually rapes us everytime we play the Pacers.

    Dude would fit in perfect!

Too bad the Pacers aren't gonna get rid of him though.

Probably won't get either of them but of the two I would take Iggy. He would be our version of Ariza but on steroids. Not by jacking up more threes but more slashing to the basket, running on the break and getting to the hole like a freight train. Plus he's a very good perimeter defender too, I think more so than Granger.

Exactly. Granger said last year that he had the desire to someday be the best defender in the league. I like offensive players who are dedicated to get better on both ends of the court!

Doubt we can get him though to be honest!

I didn't watch much of Granger this season so I may be wrong, but he doesn't play much defense. Not saying he isn't capable of doing so, he just doesn't. I think Iggy is a better all around player and would be a better fit. He would be able to guard the other team's best perimeter player, and on the other end he would allow AB to play off the ball or be a slasher. Of course in reality the probability of the Rockets getting either as well as Bosh is basically zero.

I would never offer that much for Iggy or Granger.

if anything, Granger is the better defender. Granger would fit better because he can consistently hit the 3-ball. He's also big enough to play the 4 on occasions when we need to go small (this, of course, is just a testament to his versatility). The only real advantage Iggy has is his athleticism, which Granger is no slouch in that either. Granger is the better scorer as well.

Granger, he can play decent D and can nail 3's, we could play a sick inside-outside game with brooks+ martin driving and yao(hopefully Bosh) down low. He'd get tons of open looks.

Granger is a poor man's McGrady.

    advantage:
can shoot the lights out when he's feeling it
    nice shooting form
can create off the dribble and is pretty smooth
    has good playmaking skill

    disadvantage:
    injury-prone
    loves to shoot jumpers

Iggy is a poor man's Pippen.

    advantage:
    plays smothering defense
good passer and excellent rebounder for his position
    great transition finisher

    disadvantage:
not much of a shot creator
    problematic outside shooting

I would say Granger is the better player and a better fit for the Rockets. I doubt he's available though.
