He just pitched us into the possible world series win game. Last thing on his mind and he's obviously not going to say he's committed to us heading into free agency as possibly the best FA pitcher ever. Keeping everything close to the vest and doing is smartly. Dude is focused on winning a WS. They day after I'm sure he'll be sporting a chub looking forward to very fat checks.

I mean I obviously do not see us being able to keep him. I just pray he doesn't sign with the Dodgers. It's going to be a very, very heartache of a day when he announces his new team. Only a WS win will help me with this soul crusher.

Him and his family are not impressed with Texas as a place to live... but it won't be a surprise to the FO , who made the Greinke trade based on this info. Even if the stros offered $50 million more, their hearts are set on so cal because they want a lifestyle . If it's the Angels instead of LA, it makes the Angels a tough division team to compete with healthy Ohtani as a pitcher. Trout won't be an Astro so it's a double whammy.

Might see Strasburg get a 3 year $80 million offer.

Whatever...Lance McCullers will be back and we will find another starter. That's just how the cookie crumbles. I don't blame him for wanting to play closer to home. Make him a big offer and, if he declines, then so be it.

It's also about time our division started getting a little bit more competitive. I know the As always seem to make a run but I'm tired of seeing the Angels, Mariners, and Rangers flounder around. I want more of a race.

It's well known he wants to go back to CA. He went to UCLA and has family ties to LA. Of course, I'd prefer he went to the Dodgers instead of Angels, but it might make the division more competitive.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who heard Cole humming "Hotel California" at Baskin Robbins last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

No worries. I'm from the future and in the year 2042 they rename the Cy Young Award to the Forrest Whitley award.

I'm just worried about tonight's game. As for Cole, well if he doesn't want to be here next year then I don't want him anyway. We won without him before, and our management is good at making things work.

Next man up. We lost Keuchel and CFM...i really really miss them but love how we are back in the WS without them.

Between Whitley, LMJ and FA I am confident the FO will position the team for success
