If you're a GM, who do you start building a roster with - Towns or Porzingis?

Switch Towns and Porzingis's teams, give Towns the NY hype itd be
Towns in NY >>> Porzingis in Min | in the public eye.

Porzingis doesnt need hype to be seen a legitimate talent. Though coverage does affect opinions somewhat.

I'd go Towns now. I think Porzingis has as much upside as anyone based on size measurables. Though he has health DOWNside based on the same measurables too.

Minnesota is a rising dynasty if they can stay healthy.

Wiggins-LaVine-Towns and whoever they get this upcoming draft. Yikes.

Towns all the way, even though Porzingis is nice. Towns is already playing like an all-star. He's got the NBA build, can shoot from deep, score on block, and averages 20/12 per 36. His defense and passing are good too. He's only 20 years old, but it doesn't look like he has any weaknesses. Most young bigs to have to work on something, he's already got it all. He's like a focused Rasheed Wallace and that is scary as hell.

Quite a few talented big man in this year's draft. Myles Turner have been playing very well also ever since he started getting more regular minutes. On per 36 minute basis, Turner is putting up almost identical stats as Porzingis.

Towns. I am a Porzingis fan but I truly think Towns is a special talent. I hope I am wrong, but I feel like Porzingis will deal with a lot of injuries over the course of his career.

Well, if Minny selected Porzingis over Towns your post would have been ''I'd go for Towns if I care about winning and marketing''.

Porzingis is a great talent, not all time great but great. NY spotlights showing him as an all time great potential but the Towns is probably one of the five best prospects since Lebron's draft.

I can't believe how many guys are underestimating a 20 years old guy with Garnett's athleticism, Duncan's fundamental and Battier's maturity. He's just unbelievable for his age.

I don't know. I realize the NY market has hyped up Porz, but Towns reminds me of TD. Porz is tons more marketable. Swag = 1000

    I'll post this again.
