He's not selfish but I think he could trust his teammates more.

    Every superstar goes through this.

You sure do like the mask. Recently most of your posts include a meme, it's getting pretty annoying.

There are players more selfish, but he does control the ball a lot.

More of Lin's possessions end in TOs than Harden.... so no.

...I think they just need to run set plays and limit Harden's ISO opportunities in the last minutes of the game. That way when he does ISO, it's almost unexpected or the opponent has to play him passive because their afraid he's going to dish out.

His game is not one dimensional at all. He is the best passer on the Rockets.

I'm not convinced Lin is a better decision maker. There are many moments where he gets to the rim and decides to make a risky mid-air pass as opposed to just taking his shot. Harden often does just the opposite. They both can learn from each other.

He has to when his teammates are too scared and act like they don't want the ball. It's not his fault they lack confidence in their ability and defer to him when he's on the court.

More conspiracy theories? C'mon man. You want him to sit for the good of the team? So we're better without Harden? lol

If he has Jordanlike potential, he needs to get up another 8 shots or so.

If the team play more games with better ball distribution, they will blow out a lot of teams and will be sitting pretty at a higher seed. But Harden's numbers would suffer a little bit.

As the first year of becoming the goto guys of a playoff team, it is hard for anybody to sacrifice their numbers for the team. It doesn't mean the player is selfish, it is human nature.

Maybe next season, if the core of the team stay, go through training camp together, then the team can find ways to maximize the players' strength, such that Harden still put up great numbers, but with higher efficiency.

Harden is selfish in that he doesn't play defense. It doesn't matter if Harden scores 30 because the guy he is "guarding" scores 35. Hence, a net negative for the team, but Harden got his.
