    If a major corporation wishes to put me on a retainer and I only have to go to a couple of board meetings a year, I wouldn't be opposed to the idea, if I agree with both the business they are in and how they go about that business. ;-)-

    I had a friend who worked for Playboy. It was sadly just some desk job in an office. Pr0n all over the place, yes, but otherwise it was like any other office job.

    They paid poorly too IIRC. Good benefits though.

    Surprised people are choosing Microsoft. Hasn't been a coveted job since the 90's. Getting their asses kicked in cloud, and PC slowdown has hurt too. Windows 8 was a disaster and they just took a $7.5B impairment charge for unwinding damage from the NOK deal.

    Also, Google, FB, and Apple no longer hot jobs in the valley either.
