He bulked up so Shaq and sorta Dwight wouldn't punk him with brute strength. He had polish but he wasn't quick like prime Amare, who would be a great reference for today's game.

I think with less weight gain and a weaker front line in the league, his career would've been extended longer than his crazy schedule demanded. Thinking about all that ****ed up injuries and fluke collapses is making me cut this post short.

He was a Streetball Legend but he wasn't as good on the 5 vs 5 NBA court.

And I liked him loads as well. Dude was fun to watch, even his bricks n tear drops. Solid 1 on 1 defender.

I think he could go 2-4. I think AD is a lock for the No.1 spot. Maybe.

He was shooting 36% from 3 most of the time, had one season with close to 38% or even close to 40% from trey.

That is unacceptable in an MDA environment. Unacceptable for a guard. Depending on the situation.

In the right situation, he would be still be a number 1 pick (no disrespect to AD). Using the current Rox as an example, he would be perfect for the PNR with JH13. Plus he would generate a ton of open looks for the perimeter guys or he would be in the low post with room to move (basically scoring or fouled or both). Defensively, he is a rim protector with match-up issues on perimeter shooting bigs. In the overall scheme, his offensive prowess in today's league would outweigh some of his defensive limits.

Just thought, if CLE picks him and he ends up with Lebron, does Draymond Green dare to kick him in the balls last finals? It could be an international incident.

He'd still be injured half the time. Main difference, Parsons would be taking tequila shots of his nips in Cabo.

I beg to differ... Yao couldn't shoot the 3 ball effectively - we'd have nothing to do with him. ;)
