If we win 3 of next 4 games, we can be 2 back of the spurs by next Sunday

I never thought the spurs would drop out of top 8 since Manu and Duncan are still playing. But, I thought OKC would drop and we would replace them in the top 8. Unfortunately, we are dropping as well.

 

Tonights game is crucial for the Rockets..

 

Regardless of whether or not we can make the playoffs (though it seems highly unlikely) we need the team to finish the season strong. I think the team chemistry is there, but injuries has been our achilles heel. The Rockets were touted as being one of the worse teams in the league by the experts at the beginning of season. They have overachieved, there are alot of positives to take away from this season. I hope we will be a better defensive team next season, with a shot blocker/changer in the middle.

Basically, at this point. We must go undefeated for the rest of the season, and the Spurs must lose every single game for the rest of the season... Very unlikely.

 

Well, it is Sunday, and we are 7.5 games back of the Spurs

 

The window of our opportunity to catch up to the Spurs seems to close at last night's loss, it's unlikely that the Thunder will drop out of the race either, we should prepare for the offseason in the early April and sit back on the couch watching other 16 teams fight for the title.

Hope we could pull off a miraculous run at the end of the season.
