How good are we if we get Dwight/Lin?I say we are 6th with the potential to move up if we can resign Lee and keep Parsons.
Spurs, Lakers, Thunder will take the top 3. It remains to be seen how the Clippers and Grizzlies do, but we can assume they will take the 4 and 5 seed. 6th is our peak with the roster as is. If we get Lee back, sign Asik and Lamb and Motiejunas pan out like we hope and they're worthy of All Rookie teams, then we may skyrocket up.
Sounds about right. Second round material, too. We might go further depending on what other role players Morey would be able to get. A three-point specialist is absolutely necessary. Lin looked really good because Novak was camping at the line to bail him out.
If Lin lives up to the hype, and Howard is his usual self I see no reason why we can't be 3rd in the West.
As I said last night, somewhere in a 3rd to 5th seed range. There's some volatility in there due to our high number of young players so I might think about revising that to "3rd to 6th", but for now I'm sticking to what I originally said.
All those who worry about Jeremy Lin knee, Here is an update. Jeremy Lin knee is fully healthy. Jeremy tweeted about it a few weeks ago.
Too early to have any hope of making an accurate prediction, considering we don't know who else would be here alongside Howard and Lin. There are still so many possibilities.
If we get Dwight/Lin that's just the beginning. We'll need to add a lot of more pieces, as we traded nearly everyone away. Re-signing Courtney Lee would be a good move as KMart will almost surely be involved in the trade for Dwight. Parsons will also likely be added into the trade package so we will need a good small forward.
