If the Rockets had kept Lou Will, Montrezl, & Bev instead of trading for CP3

    Calm down. I looked up the following:
    https://hoopshype.com/salaries/houston_rockets/2016-2017/

    Which was the teams roster and cap figures for the season before CP3 was traded for. The point is that Montrezl wasnt the only player making 1M - there were clearly options. Relax.

    No there were clearly not options the fact that you thought priggioni was an option shows you don't really have a grasp of the matter.

    Well...this didn’t age well.

    I will admit that I wanted to keep Trez and I felt that way even way back at the time of the trade, but we traded nothing else of real value imo. Nothing worth losing out on CP3 for anyways.

    All those guys are good.

    But we got CP3 so who cares.

    I know the narrative is cp3 is old and aging but if u actually watch the games it’s clear as day how much he means to this team.

    He’s still one of the 5 best PGs in the game. His impact gies far beyond stats.

    His control of situation is second to none and that’s critical if your trying to win a championship.

    one day y’all will recognize that the playoffs is about stars and stop crying over some damn role players

    all these role players people are mourning over as they get their ass whooped by GS...meanwhile with CP3 we have a legit shot at taking them down

    LAC needed a miracle to win 1 game...they’ve been down by 20-30 points in every single game...

    this thread is stupid, and so is the one about Seth Curry

    What sucks is that we probably included him in the trade just to make the salaries work...Trez is basically Faried on offense but with a stronger body and better defense.

    He's just all around better at this point . Farried isn't as athletic as he used to be and Harrell is just so strong

    The trade worked for both teams. Clippers got 3 guys with heart and talent. (Love those guys!) And we got a master playmaker. And Morey quickly found the right guys to put around him.
