Should the Rockets look inward for new direction or branch outward? I think Elston Turner would make a good candidate. He can probably retain Jack Sikma as coach, and he knows the players and system that the players have been running.

We need some "Hand down, man down" drills to improve the defense.

My vote for JVG, but would he want to come back to coach this team.....I can see him going to LA if PJ retires, OKC if brooks cant bring them over the hump.....I hope he goes to Miami even tho he may not do that since Riley forced Ron Jeremy out...

Mike brown is a pretty terrible choice too, we dont have lebron to give the ball to and let run around and do whatever he wants.

Screw JVG. You people are either nuts or love to watch paint dry. Maybe both.

Too obsessed with one end of a basketball court. I've gotten to the point where I turn off the volume for him and Mark Jackson.

If it's bad in here now about why Patterson or Hill or Bud or TWill can't get PT, wait till the VG short hook for any young player missing a defensive rotation creates a s**t hits the fan scent in the room.

I'm still not sure about Turner. He would a nice hire, but I feel he is more offensive minded. While I do not want another coach like JVG who would sacrifice all offense for any defense, I really want the Rockets to get a slightly more defensive minded coach.

    My first group would be:

    Dwayne Casey
    Mike Budenholzer

    Second group would include:
    Elston Turner
    Sam Mitchell
