If LeBron James is so great, why does he have to change teams and stack the deck with superstars

Because NBA-top is heavily stacked. LeBron carries scrubs-wagon right now and still makes finals

Stop it. Lebron is great and is on another tier than Curry and Harden.

I don't know any. It's a nice accomplished. But to put it in context, the east has been between mediocre & pathetic for years now. If the Rockets played in the east we'd be in finals every year too. Any of the top 5 teams in the west could beat ANYBODY in the east. I don't see the greatness in coming out the east

Apples and oranges. I’m not talking about the accomplishment of the Cavs team. I’m talking about the accomplishment of an individual player having to carry a mediocre supporting cast.

Yes, many West teams would come out of the East. But I don’t think any other player in either conference would be able to take this Cavs team to the Finals.

This Cavs team? They have 2 superstars & a solid supporting cast lol. Rodney Hood, Jeff Green, Kyle Kover, Jordan Clarkson & George Hill are all solid NBA players

You're entitled to your opinion, but Kevin Love is not a superstar. And if the supporting cast is so good, LeBron shouldn't have to work so hard (nor play all 48) just for his team to be competitive in the playoffs.

You guys are crazy. James is on another level, everyone else is competing for the MVP of the youth league.

As for Durant and Curry, when they decided to play together, they basically said that the heck with the individual stats, they just want to win. Everyone knows there is no way for either of them to win MVP playing together.

We won't know if Harden could have dragged a less talented Eastern Conference team to the Finals 8 times.

So what? Its not Lebron's fault the East was weak.

Look, which HOF team did Jordan beat? Is it his fault his GM was so good while the rest of the NBA GMs were so bad?

I think people actually forget that Michael Jordan, the so called greatest ever, couldn't even get past the first round of the playoffs until he got talent around him.

It is weak but it is not like it's the Gleague or any European league as many would ridicule it to be. It's still NBA level competition.

What are you talking about clearly Jordan just played 6 seasons and won a ring each year he played. 6-6 in the Finals, baby!

Don't bother confusing them with facts.....the mainstream media have their minds made up. Brainwash the others.

It sells and makes them money.

The difference between Jordan and Lebron is, Jordan stayed with 1 team and waited to be surrounded which makes his success more spectacular, Lebron had to team up with 2 other top 10 players at the time on another team to find success. Then he switched back to Cleveland when he felt the heat couldn't succeed and Cleveland was good enough to compete. He's nothing but a sore loser

Durant is the same, joined a 73 win team and took the easy road to success, but who could blame him, people nowadays don't want to work hard for success, they want it handed to them on a silver platter.

Kevin Love is definitely a superstar. He's just sacrificed his game to be a role player, similar to Bosh. You need to check Loves stats before Cleveland

Love was a star and put up ridiculous numbers but I think his decline is more than just becoming a role player - that no doubt is a part of it though.
