If Yao wants to go, go then. We dont need a p***y in this team. We also dont need those p***y fans here.

One doesn't really need to defend Lowry because he's not a threat from deep ....

Nevertheless, let's see what happens with the new lineup.

BAD NEWS!!!!! IF I were Yao, I will ask be traded right now. Yao is nearly 30,for a chinese ,the body condition will decline very fast. I think Yao is better to ask be traded next season ,So he have the chance to get 1 ring.IN houston , in this rebuild team, NO offense at all, AT least we need 2 seasons to get the team completed and well running . as Yao said we don't have too much time.

I am a Rockets fan, and if my Yao fan-ship is a failure, then so would be the Rockets, which might actually make you happy.

So, seriously, has anyone told you that you fail at life?

I think you're going to be surprised. The kid has an excellent midrange game, handles, can take it to the cup, loves the fast break, built like a mini-tank, can pass... I'd rather have a player that nails midrange shots consistently, then a player who forgets it's a part of the game and goes 1-9, 2-10, 3-12 from downtown, and then has one game where he shoots 60%. Rafer never knew when to stop shooting.

what's wrong with Yao being Chinese? Yao has proved Chinese can play great basketball. Yao will prove Chinese can have a career just as long as other players.

You probably will confess a failed life after Yao retires from CBA. Dont push it, enjoy the process. I bet many people have told you that you have a wonderful life. Cong!

I don't think they did this for salary reasons. From the quotes they feel like Lowery is an upgrade over Rafer. Also I think this means they feel like Brooks can be the starter. It would be hard to bench a vet like Rafer for a young guy like Brooks. It's easier to start Brooks and let Lowry come off the bench.

At the end of the day without our big 3 our chances of winning a championship pretty much came to an end. So with or without Rafer we still have the talent to compete in the playoffs but we were not getting to the Championship either way most likely.

This is good for both sides. Rockets get to see if Brooks is really the PG for the future, if not then we can maybe try to upgrade the PG season this off-season. Rafer still goes to a contending team and he starts for that team.

Yes, actually many have told me I have a wonderful life. And no, I don't watch the CBA. I watch the Houston Rockets.
Stay strong, dude. Many people have it worse than you... well, maybe not.

Hey man, nobody is saying his career will be short cuz he's asian, is he, I hadn't noticed? Look at the history of 7'4 or larger players, history isn't on his side, the giants break down faster.

That said Yao is one cool cat, I loved his reaction to the questions about the trade deadline, he really is a witty guy for an Asian that is.
