If he is available next year, do we go after Romo?

I know he is old and injury prone, but if Dallas makes Romo available should the Texans try to get him here? It reminds me of the Peyton Manning issue a few years ago, we had a chance to get him but we stuck with Shaub. I know Romo is not on Manning's level but he is still a proven QB and centuries ahead of Brock. Why should we waste another year with Osweiller next year where it seems obvious it's not going to work out.

This team needs to take advantage of JJ and this defense's prime, the window will be closing soon. We wasted Andre Johnson and Arian Foster's prime because management was too stubborn to go for Peyton. So what if we get Romo for a good couple of years, The Broncos did the same with Manning and got a Super Bowl

Makes a lot more sense to go with Savage.

    Hahaha
Have you seen what dallas is doing with a rookie game manager at qb?
This is why romo looked good two years ago. daVe ragone would look good with this line.

Romo probably goes to Denver. Texans are stuck with Brock for 1 more season

Yes, I would take a Romo with a 50/50 chance of staying healthy over a Brock with no injury concerns. So what if Romo gets hurt, we have Savage or can sign a backup QB who will literally be just as good as Brock.

No chance at all. There's no way you can tie that kind of money into one position.

    Yes.

    We have:

    A great defense
    A solid running game
The special teams are at least average

    And:

The worst passing game in the league

    Let's fix our biggest weakness

Fixing the line will go a long way. Starts with getting healthy.

Can we just return brock to denver? That would save us a lot of trouble, money and headache.

If that's the case then why did they suck last year with Matt Cassel and Brandon Whedon? Give the rookie some credit, and don't forget they also added a stud at RB

Absolutely yes if we can get him at a reasonable contract. We're stuck with Osweiler for one more year, but if we can get Romo at a decent contract it would be worth it.

How many games would he last before breaking if he had the Texans O line protecting him? 2 games?
