I dont want my C out at the 3pt line when a shot clangs.
Its one of the issues OKC people have with Ibaka.

I think Myers Leonard or Whiteside would be ideal for this team. They are focused on rebounding and defense and won't command the ball like Dwight. Plus they are younger and can run the floor and finish above the rim.

Capela is a pure modern day Center.

D-Mo! Real post player who is better than Dwight Howard in the post. All he needs to do is stay healthy. And bring in Tom Thibodeau to teach
D-Mo play defense. I would trade Capela for some draft picks or trade him for a hidden player like a Kyle Lowry, or a Dragic.

    A center that can't rebound?

Someone mentioned Myers Leonard... That's intriguing

Yeah, he would fit the 3pt floor spacing model we need.

A Capela/Aldrich platoon sounds ideal since both are fairly low usage guys who are strong around the rim and rebound fairly well. They also aren't really 30 minute players and Aldrich would be an elite post scorer off the bench.

I had thought after the Miami game earlier this season that we would see more j smoove as a small-ball center

I have spoken directly to JB regarding our status for the C position when Dwight leaves. He confidently mentioned Brewer and walked away high-fiving everyone.

Hopefully Dwight opts out and then resigns with us.

Capela is NOT a 4. Absolutely no way. He can't shoot or stretch the floor. He's definitely a 5. Should he be our starting C? No. Not at this point.

Although I'm sure your joking, I oddly think this scenario is a possibility.

Let's me change that idea. I can't stomach another center who can't make free throws.....unless we get him for a LOT less money than Dwight, and use the big bucks for a star forward.
