If CP3 ditches the Rockets, no big FA's sign, and Capela isn't matched...

exacty, I can't think of too many cities our there (if any) that have it as good as Houston right now

 

Joking aside, if someone told me coming into last season that we would have the best record in the league, sign Paul and Capella to long-term deals, and replace Ariza and Luc with Anthony and Ennis (who was coming off a solid season under Bzdelik in Memphis), I would be thrilled. Toss in Melton, Hartenstein (MCW is too much of a question mark right now), the MLE, and the significant trade chip of Gordon + Anderson to match salary, and I think we are in terrific shape. Not as sexy of a splash as last year, not enough necessarily to catch the Warriors without some luck, but enough to keep us competitive in the regular season and the playoffs, as well as on the trade market.

 

Exactly the way I see it. But I don't think we're done, I expect another trade, either by camp or by the deadline for a defensive player at the 2-3 or 3-4.
