Pippen was a Westbrook-level 3-pointer shooter, except for the 3 years it was moved in. He was not a great isolation scorer.

There's no way he'd function anywhere close to Harden as a scorer in this system. Why don't other knowledgeable people on the panel call out these old-timer players on their nonsensical claims? They're paid to be experts, right?

Pippen should be taken off TV for saying something this stupid. Dude was never a scorer didn’t have any go to moves how would he average 40 going one on one all game.

TMAC on the other hand I do believe could average 40. He’s actually got a scoring title, and if analytics was around back then he coulda traded all his long twos for threes. However the Rockets probably don’t win as much as Tmac probably only plays 50 games that year.

 

Pippen, T-Mac, Carmelo, Dwight, and CP3 should all get together and form a disgruntled ex-Rocket club, so they can all complain about how unfair Harden is and how easy it is for him.
