He would trade Derozan, Poetl, and a slew of draft picks if he could get his hands on Harden. Harden + their catch and shoot players + Aldridge =:eek:

harden only ISOs because of the roster and coach around him is so dependent on him.. he would average 10 assists with pops and the spurs

honestly you are 100% sure pops would rather have derozan than harden?

    I understand it totally that’s why I said TRADE/SIGNING

Now we live or die by an aging Cp3 is super risky what we are doing with harden in his prime

no clue what you're laughing about. doesn't make much sense actually. I guess everyone missed the part where Pops just watches DD dribble all day

Yeah, to be honest, I am impressed that he hasn't.

OP, don't worry about the reactions. No one likes it when a player wants out, for it to happen with Harden is particularly stressful to think about. Everyone talks **** about players who want out, until it's the one who joins our team.

Even if Morey has given his 100%, at some point a player wants to win it all. Harden deserves a title and if what's stopping him from the title is whatever limitations this particular organization has, then he's going to think about teaming up with someone in their prime. He doesn't owe us anything. He's given us more than any star has given their team.

I'm not saying Pop wouldn't want Harden over Demar. It would be a nightmare molding someone of Harden's skill level into a Spurs Clone.

Harden is a special player that doesn't like to move at all if he doesn't have to on offense and defense; He is a PG/SG/PF hybrid. Pop's offense is all about motion. Would Pop make Harden his PG? MDA unlocked MVP Harden by simply giving him the ball when Mchale was trying to fake like Harden was a pure SG. JeffB also tricked teams into thinking Harden was a mismatch defending the block so Harden doesn't have to move around on defense. Pop is not spending that much time trying to maximize one player's talent.

Harden is an amazing passer, but a careless one. He doesn't have the PG skill of CP3. Spurs offense is about motion and cuts to the basket. Harden is not going to be apart of that offense if he isn't THE offense. Harden is not going to screen for anyone. Harden is not cutting for anyone. Forget about those hockey passes to get someone else a shot. Pop won't be willing to change the offense to make Harden THE offense and have a separate offense when Harden sits. Spurs are the f-cking Borg.

Harden can do all those in okc. People act like harden is the iso player today by his own choice and not he was forced into this role by morey and mda.

And hardens turnovers will be a thing of the past if he averaged 35 mins in pops system.

    Harden + pops + spurs = dynansty

People here act like harden wont do what ever it takes / make the necessary changes to WIN

I mean you were the one bringing up DD in this, not anyone else. So it really depends on who you ask in that case. But there's people out there that don't prefer iso heavy players. Whether you want to believe that or not.

A point was made that Pop isn't a fan of the barrage of 3's and iso's, which he has made it well known. You're welcome to guess whoever is Pop's apparent "dream player" however you like

you mean harden put it all that work in the offseason all these years to become one of the best isolation players in the league bc he was forced too? well that makes alot of sense doesn't it

James never wants to leave here, it would take a lot for him to leave.

That's what he says...but make no mistake. Harden is very concerned about his legacy, which he should be. He is a historic player who wants to be considered historic. If he hasn't won a ring in Houston, I'd be very surprised if he doesn't go elsewhere to team up with stars who can get him a ring, if necessary. Hopefully we can get one for him here.

And that doesn't mean this thread isn't dumb. It is.
