Trump is a petulant child who wants to get his way, all of this crap is nothing more than image and we all know that. We also know he doesn't give a f**k about the country and that his cult will blindly support him through anything. I can't see why he would cave, and the republicans in congress, who mostly feel the same as we all do, are too spineless to risk angering his cult.

In all my life this is legitimately the most alarming thing I have ever seen from the government. This is s**t you see in 3rd world countries, not the United States. We have a president who is more than happy to let the country suffer, and an american public, the majority of which hate his guts, powerless to stop him.

 

Both the house and senate passed a bill without the wall funding. I don't see how its anybody but trump.

 

For getting us INTO this mess? Could not disagree more.

 

I understand want you are all saying and you all make good points. I guess looking at this more as chuck and nancy vs trump pissing match than the big picture.

What all of these polls fail to show is support among republican for the wall has gone up since the shutdown. Support the shutdown has also gone up among that group. On a side note, support for a president to hide his communications with foreign gov, actually anyone, from his own cabinet, the America gov, and the American people has also gone up. All of these are great signs for the president to continue down the current path.




I just made all that up, but I think I’m not far off.

I am mostly conservative and I dislike Trump, but if you think CNN doesn't slant way left, then you must think Fox doesn't slant way right.
