couldn't sleep. I got back from the Toyota Center at 1:00am. I laid down in bed knowing that I would have to wake up in 3 hours to go work out. I stewed in my bed for 10 minutes, still steamed about the game. I was so worked up, I decided, "screw it." I got dressed and went to the gym at 1:30am and did four straight hours of cardio while watching ESPN. I got all of the rage out of my system. I got home at 5:30, took a shower and got dressed. It's now almost 7am and I have to be at work at 9am. I haven't slept, I'm tired, I feel like ****, and I'm still pissed. What did you do to deal with the loss?
I got on nba.com and wrote the nba another email about the poor officiating, Dirk either scoring or getting FT's on every single possession it seems like, and Yao getting nothing but hammered and never getting calls either way. And then the absolutely inexplicable stolen points. We need to take a collection to buy a copy of the same photos that Cuban has on the nba executives and refs. You know, the ones where they are in a hotel room with Marv Albert....
I was also very disappointed after rox lost the game, however, i think that the loss is very normal because the MAVS is also a very good team in the league. Also, i think that the rox has had no enough strength to sweep them yet. The situation is still under control. Lets just calm down and trust JVG and rox that they can beat MAVS eventually and go to finals. At least, i think so.
I couldnt sleep either. It sucks, but we all kind of knew that this was going to be more than just a walk in the park 4 game sweep. Most of us predicted Rockets in 6, and right now that plays in our hands. We just need to win at home!! BELIEVE
i went to bed...my problem isn't sleepless nights after losses...my problem is sleepless nights after wins. i got too excited and couldn't sleep after game 2.
Restless nite, same for the wife, I think we both know the Roxs just made things a bit harder on themselves. The whole 4th quarter I kept having flashbacks of game 1 of the Spurs Nuggs series. It was almost a carbon copy of that 4th quarter. I hope we have the same result in the next game.
I couldn't sleep at all...................................but I think it was my girl's meatloaf. Heartburn like a mutha! She needs a new damn recipe! I didn't expect them to sweep Dallas...you just can't make too many mistakes or miss too many open shots with a team like that. Game 4 has to be had!
Wasn't a surprise to me. I predicted the first two wins and I predicted last night's loss (shoulda posted my predictions here). I predict that we will win Saturday's game. -- droxford
I get angry but I get over it knowing that the Rockets will pull through. Saturday's game is a must win and the Rockets will come out more intense. T-Mac and Yao will have a big game.
I jsust went to bed. I was dissappointed but the Mavs played a tough game. They were backed into a corner and came out swinging. I see us bouncing back on Saturday and I am certain the JVG will have a meeting with the guys today to discuss the 4th quarter collapse.
Having nothing to cheer for, I slept earlier after last night's devastating loss. So for my physical well-being it ain't too bad. In hindsight, I should have probably watched Bush's news conference prior to the Rockets game - at least I can get a good laugh.
You guys crack me up. Many of the free throws were late in the game when the Rockets were intentionally fouling and every player on the Mavs roster was in foul trouble all night. Josh Howard played only 17 minutes and Dampier only played 19. Come on now.
I was so mad, i had to imagine my self floating weightless in space surrounded by tiny little seahorses.... yeah....yeah....i'm feeling much better now.
I'm with you. I had a strong feeling that the Rockets were going to lose game three. I have the same feeling that they are going to win game four. The Mavs weren't going to get swept; plus, Dirks reputation was on the line. So was Finley's and AJ. The Mavs are an excellent team, but the Rockets are tough, just not as consistent as they will be eventually. Bowen is more important than I thought.
