I think Nene will be available at the trade deadline

I have been secretly hoping that Denver unplugs and unloads and we could get Nene for either expiring/trade exception and one player like Hill. The two bigs I ideally want to add to our team that may possibly be available would be Nene and Anthony Randolph. I would trade any combination of Scola/Hill/Jeffries/Budinger/2011 pick swap, 2011 2nd rounder..........to make that happen.

We should trade for a young center to develop instead. If we do make the playoffs, I'd rather trade for a developing big to have him gain experience. Than trade for an aging Nene...

I'm guessing we'd be giving up Hill, JJ, and then something else as well. Maybe DPE for Birdman or Harrington and some sort of the 3 way deal to move that player?

That would hurt, since Scola is one of our few truly reliable scorers AND rebounders.

Wow your overrating Nene, every one of those guys has a much higher ceiling than what Nene currently is.

Just from physical attributes alone, each one of those guys have the potential to be a bigger impact on the defensive end than Nene. Within in the next 3 yrs through proper development..

No his not old in terms of the NBA. His in his prime. But you have to look at the bigger picture, and stop being so short sided. The Rockets are looking down the road, and seeing who will better 3-4yrs from now.

Stop thinking in a win-now mentality, and look towards the future..

Also he's a bit undersized .. and if we trade for him I hope Miller is a part of it but that's highly unlikely ..

 

It's pretty obvious you haven't watch many NENE games....especially to think that those bums you called YOUNG CENTERS even compare to him. He's not a superstar, but well above average at his position. Is he over paid? Hell yes! Who is NOT overpaid in the NBA these days?! LOL Nene would fit perfectly in this front line.
