When was the last time a player scored 30 plus points, in back to back games, on 13 shots per game or fewer.

Has a rocket ever done it? If so, I think the answer would go back to Barkley or Dream, but I can't remember even them doing this.

According to B-R, no one has ever done it before dating back to 1985 -- in back-to-back games. Barkley has done it the most of all players (13 times) but never back-to-back. As an aside, Jordan never did it.

Charles Barkley is the only other player who's done it according to bball reference (only goes as far back as 1985-1986 season).
James Harden 2012-12-19 to 2012-12-22 (2 games and counting)
    Charles Barkley 1988-03-16 to 1988-03-18 (2 games)

But 30+ points on 13 FGA or less in single games has happened before.
215 games with a player 30+ PTS on 13 FGA or less

Wow, I'll have to start using that site. Thanks for the answers.

After reviewing those stats, Harden is the only player since 85 to score 31 points plus in back to back off 13 shots or fewer.

I wonder if Morey will catch wind of this?

Oh, I did 31 points or more. OP asked for 30 or more.

So, Harden is only one with 31 pts or more. fwiw.

I think the problem with this is you can't pull it down to where you hit 30, Jordan may have gotten 30 from 13, but he was such a volume shooter, if he'd had that many free throws it could have well ended at 45 from 18

I reran the query for all 40+ scoring games (no matter how many shots) and then sorted by least FGAs. On less than 20 shots, Harden and Jordan have done it twice in their careers. fwiw.
