With 2006 coming to a close, lets look back on what made 2006 an interesting year. Think of it as VH1's I Love 2006. Michael Richards Britney Spears Vince Young Di Vinci Code Heroes Nelly Furtado's Promicious Zinedine Zidane Pluto PS3 High School Musical That's all I can think of.
This has pretty much been the worst year of my life. The only bright spot was UT winning the national championship, but other than that, not so much. Well, Dave's show in August rocked, but again, that's about it. However, I will take the lessons I've learned from this year to make 2007 one of the best years of my life.
Another (almost) miracle comeback by the Astros The signing of Carlos Lee Acquistion of Shane Battier and plucking Bonzi Wells from the value bin. A progressed and dominant Yao. A healthy (short lived) T Mac and Yao. An Improved Rockets team. An improved Texans team. The Astros sweeping the Cardinals in the thick of a playoff race The Texans (finally) beating the Colts. The Rockets pummeling the Mavs. A pretty good summer for movies (MI:III, Superman Returns, Dead Man's Chest, Disctrict B13, Little Miss Sunshine, Monster House, Talledega Nights, WTC) The phenomenan that was Snakes On A Plane followed by its utter failire at the box office. The return of Rocky! Dynamo becoming MLS champions Rice going to its first bowl game since who knows when UH winning its first conference championship in over a decade. The power shift in Congress *Also add the success of the Wii *And Clemen returning to the 'Stros. And on a personal note: finding out I'm gonna be a dad getting engaged getting a great job
Ucla run to the championship game USC losing in the rose bowl Ucla beating USC UCLA ending the year (hopefully) ranked #1 Steelers winning the superbowl my new job (most thankful for this) good health to all my family and friends sports wise outside of the rockets the year was good but i would say overall 2006 was really good to me
