I can't imagine how you feel. Before I was born, my parents lost my brother and sister in a one year span. You have to stay strong for your daughter like my parents were strong for me and siblings.
From one father to another, stay strong for your daughter. I am hurting from reading that, I couldn't imagine writing it.
Hang in there... I lost my brother, and closest friend, in an auto accident almost 4 years ago. I can truly say that nothing can prepare you for this. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him. Even with this pain I still carry, it is those special memories -- especially those hysterical pranks he always pulled on me -- that somehow carry me through EACH day. There is a comfort there, I can't describe it, but it's always there. Be strong and allow the joy and innocence of your son to flow through you each and every day. This is my hope and prayer for you, brother. May Kristina and your son, Jason, rest in peace.
As someone who can relate, stay strong. I know it's cliche, but time does make the pain manageable. My condolences...
May God bless you and your daughter. I'm glad you held your son. I imagine it made his passing as comfortable as possible. God bless.
So sorry for your loss. I cant imagine what you're going through. Donated to help you through this tough time.
My heart goes out to you. Words don't heal the pain of the loss of a child, especially your own. Time may dull it, but you will always feel that pain. I am very sorry that you and your daughter have experienced such heartbreak, hopefully the joy of a new baby will help to distract you from the hurt. Hugs to you both and know that you aren't alone. Yes those of us here may never meet in person, but sometimes its the faceless many that help us to get our sadness and frustration out when we don't want to burden those closest to us.
Your daughter needs you now more than ever. Be strong for her, but allow her to be your strength too when you feel weary or overwhelmed. Just looking into her eyes might give you that little extra strength to keep going and to keep fighting. You are the most important and influential person in her world now. You can handle it. You have to. My heart goes out to you as a father of two small children.
