I can't imagine. Im so sorry. I was actually talking to my dad on the phone on the 7th and he told me about this, as he boats there all the time.

Sorry to hear about this man. It's life altering experiences like this that makes me realize just how precious life is. I know this must be incredibly hard to cope with but I think posting your story here is good because it let's you know that even though you don't personally know many (or any) of us, that we're all here for one another in some form or fashion during times of need. Will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers for sure man.

I just heard back from my company. Apparently I'm only eligible to use my anniversary grant for transfer to 501c3 non-profits. Is there another organization I can donate to that will still get the funds to your family? (Our company matches donations, so this would lead to a greater contribution.)
