If Russ could shoot at a decent clip from the perimeter maybe we wouldn't have to commit to small ball and maybe we would have had a better shot. At the same time I think Covington is pretty invaluable for us. Maybe next season we go for an actual stretch big. Oh well.
As long as I've been watching basketball, I've never seen anyone play as bad as Westbrook and still get a lot of burn. I understand that D'Antoni is trying to let him get out of his slump but Westbrook is digging deeper. It's awful. He can't even pass it. It's like his equilibrium is off or something.
