that is why i only carry my license, gym membership, ONE CC, insurance, and some cash. forget anything else. people should never put there SS card or anything as valuable as that in their wallet. really, how often would you use it?

A coworker, talking about rising crime in our area, half joking said "You gotta carry some money on you - some money for an emergency, and some for the robbers now."
Meaning its probably better the robber have a sense they gained something, rather than getting upset of not getting anything and taking frustration out on you.

 

Damn, glad you're ok. I carry a Glock 27 and I think I would have done the same thing...give him the wallet. 4 guys with guns and my Glock and 10 rounds strapped to my ankle. (I carry two spare magazines) Even with the Glock in my hand, 4 guns against 1 are not good odds.

Then again, I usually only pickup from fast food places, and when I do go to a restaurant, I have made it a habit to get a seat with a direct line of sight to the entrance.
