While we were potty training our daughter, we didn't notice that she pooped outside in the yard, because "the dogs do it". As soon as my wife got there to get her, one of our dogs had eaten her poop. It was so gross.
It will likely run it's course, maybe in a day or two, or maybe takes three weeks. And when it does you will be happy to poop normally again. Been there. The truth is it could be many things. If you want to go it alone, without a doctor... then my recommendation is to eat rice. You may want to eat Chipolte Burritos. Take some long hot baths. That worked for me to slow it down to where you can live somewhat normally. You could try pro-biotics and/or Fibre, but likely won't work. That did not work for me at all. It's worth a try, but honestly, rice worked for me. Mine was fluffy and lots of liquid. I had to go every two hours for almost one week. Then rice slowed it down to like twice a day. It was insane. I don't know what it was. It could have been the bacteria in my intestine was gone and I couldn't process properly. Hard to know cause I didn't go to doctor. But a doctor probably could diagnose you easily and help remedy. As I went through I wondered was it alcohol, was it the food I was eating, did I get infected at a port a potty, was it my new cats, was it some disease. I really had no clue, but think it was just that my colon or bacteria was no longer working and needed to recover. I did read where for some people it went much longer. I reckon it depends on what is wrong.
If you have a pet and it lasts so long it may be Parasites. Giardia would be a prime suspect esp if you are a kid or have weak immune system. Cryptosporium another. If symptoms last for as long as two weeks parasites are in front in the differential diagnosis.
I don't let that dog anywhere near my face. Geez what kind of weirdos are y'all letting your dog lick your face.
