these last couple we're witnessing ryno's impact. He spreads the floor so much and make no mistake he is a sharpshooter. Him missing 2 or 3 in a row is a big deal but you can count on him knocking some 3s down. hope him and ego are ok
I completely agree with this. If Ryno was not being paid 20 million, I guarantee no one would be complaining. I really hope he finds the same groove he had early this season with Paul. We need all our guys to be firing at all cylinders come playoffs.
I can't emphasize this old post enough. Yea he's overpaid but when he's on the floor the spacing is amazing. CP3 gets him the ball and the offense runs well. He's the LMAM of the offense (kinda). Ryno is the guy that can miss 4 straight but you know that 5th one will go in. They also don't leave him open, allowing the cuts to the basket. MDA has been way too conservative with him. He needs to be back. Rockets not getting out of 2nd without him

I truly madly deeply despise this guy. Just get rid of him. Keep him away from my Rockets team. Shame on Morey for giving this scrub a massive contract. Shame on the coaching staff for continuing to give this choker minutes. Pete Chilcutt contributed more to our playoff run than Ryan Anderson has at a mere fraction of the cost. But its ok. This summer, just like last summer, people here will tell me how there are teams out there that are willing to take Ryan Anderson in a 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 team trade...lulz...
All jokes aside, Ryno can't possibly play well given his minutes distribution and his role. How can a player get into a rhythm when he only gets 7 minutes a night and only gets a couple shots up? I think Ryan can score. He doesn't magically forget how to shoot. He just can't get into a rhythm given how MDA plays him. The thing is I don't blame MDA for playing him with a short leash. He can't play defense and therefore is a guaranteed negative when he isn't scoring.
Playoff Ryno noshow and EG bricking all shots. What else is new? Both these scrubs better be gone by next year. They may win you games in the regular season but in the playoffs they always suck.

The answer is clear and simple and it also applies to Gordon and Luc to a lesser extent. Here it is... Run plays for him EARLY. You gotta call his number and let him get a couple shots off. And of course he actually has to shoot the ball. One thing I'm noticing is that Anderson has a slower release. I used to dislike him chucking many steps behind the 3point line but now I believe it helped him get his shot off in time. It's honestly probably too late to resurrect him this late in the season but I miss the Harden and Anderson high pick and pop.
