Again, is Harden really the guy this franchise wants to build around long term? Harden was in the role that better suited him in OKC. Not a cornerstone type player or mentality.

Truthfully he had a great playoffs last year. His game has a little bit of that "refs swallowing their whistles" problem since the OKC days. But his problem this year is just something else

The idea that Harden doesn't work in the playoffs is ridiculous. He's not a one trick pony - he's a triple threat player who will only get better since his game doesn't depend on freakish athleticism. The guy can shoot off the dribble, he can hit step back threes, he can generate assists, and he can drive and finish. He's the best shooting guard in the NBA. But he is one offensive player (except Beas) on a team of defensive guys who aren't playing great team D. He needs scoring help. Ideally at the 3 and 4 to maximize spacing (guys who can actually hit 3's from the corner). We need a better defensive philosophy - badly. And Harden needs a coach who can mentor him to the next level. But don't throw out the baby with the bath water.
JBB betrayed Harden by putting scrubs on the court like Corey Brewer. Harden has no one to pass to that can make a play.
