Harden was a problem. One problem among dozens. After the year we've had, he hasn't said/done what you'd expect a leader to do. A leader should be furious and ashamed of the effort and lack of preparation going on this season night, after night, after night, after night, after night, after night, after night. This team is broken, and he's a part of that puzzle. It's going to be a wild offseason.

I would consider either trying to put two superstars around harden this offseason or trading him for some players and 2 1st round picks. and tank for two seasons. keep mccdaniels, capela, and dekker. otherwise blow it the hell up.
the numbers he put up this year. i would not be embarrased either. if the team were good his minutes and stats could go down some, and his defense could pick up some. but nooooo people can't make a damn shot on this team to save their lives.

Josh Smith took us to WCFs. Harden was bent over backwards by the Clippers last year until the bench took over.

It was actually Howard and Josh Smith's play. Harden had a great game per series, but you'll notice that Howard was consistent in his play. There is a reason benching Harden led to our comeback. he's a great player, that one game at Dallas where he sunk those 2 critical shots in the clutch were awesome, its just that his play is too variable. If you remember, Austin Rivers was taking him to school and even taunted him before we came back from 1-3.

He is not the ONLY problem but he is definitely one problem amongst several of the problems for this dismal season Clear rift amongst the players and I feel a lot of them checked out on Harden. We shall see it reach a boiling point this summer. Watch closely....
