Harden had one of the best seasons ever for a 25 year old. It'd be nice if this game didn't define him all offseason.
He's struggled this season after 40+ point games. This was just an anomaly, and it shouldn't define his season.
Great time for Harden to have his worst playoff game and set the NBA playoff turnover record. Terrible way to end his otherwise great season.
He's a mentally weak player. That's his main hurdle. Him being 25 certainly gives me confidence that he can change that.
A good game by harden wins this. That's what is sad. Not a great game, but a good game. He just choked.
LeBron at 22 took a much worse team to the NBA finals and scored the last 25 points for his team in the conference finals. Harden and Bron don't even deserve to be in the same sentence.
good luck with that. it was not just a regular choke. it's was historically awful game for who allegedly is a superstar. harden's reputation just took a deep dive, and he deserves that.
this is only game ive truly been disappointed in harden. he has not been aggressive AT ALL. look at his shot attempts. youre a superstar! YOU SHOULD BE SHOOTING ABOUT 25 TIMES OR MORE TO SAVE YOUR SEASON.
This is the NBA and we are trying to win a championship. There isn't any consolation for a great regular season. The biggest game of the year, he puts a giant turd on it. Non-Rocket fans WILL define his season with this game. We Rocket fans will have to deal with it as we would do the same for other superstar players of other teams if they laid a turd of epic proportions(broke a NBA record for playoff turnovers). I hope Harden takes the criticism better than you though. When pundits such as Colin Cowherd gets called out as a turd on this message board for his rather negative opinion of James Harden by calling him nothing more than a Melo type player, Harden isn't helping his case with tonight's game.
Harden had a bad game. But every team in the league would love to have him. We've got to get him some help. We have to have more than one player that can handle the ball.
mvp announced, responds with bad game fluffed chance to win game 2, responds with bad game. goes into do or die situation in game 5, plays badly. howard gets all the criticism, but he's been consistent in the playoffs.
I've come to the conclusion that Harden can't be our number 1 option anymore. He is better off being a second fiddle to a true superstar. We can't build a team around a player who is this mentally weak.
As luck would have it I couldn't tune in until 6 minutes left. WTF happened? Was he really passive or what?
