House only works well with a really structured team with an elite experienced pg like Harden to play off of.
I have no idea why rockets still keep House. He is 0-7. Brooks already scored 9 points few minutes. why we keep House? He is worthless and basically do nothing.
Beat me to it. 0-7 in 21 minutes. Zero points. Meanwhile, you have a young, energetic 6'7" SF in Kenyan Martin Jr that keeps getting better and better. His 3-point shot has really improved, he's a good rebounder, and plays above the rim offensively and defensively. Yep, it's time to trade House. At the very least he shouldn't be starting or playing so many minutes
If we really cared about culture should have cut his ass after getting kick out the bubble for choosing pu$$y over bb. He still here cause he's on a cheap contract I guess.
I am beginning to suspect that House was one of Stone's "finds" / recommendations to Morey back in the day. Otherwise, it's just hard to understand his extended tenure with our beloved franchise.
When you're HATED in your on HOUSE, you really messed up! This man is from Houston and nobody wants him here. When he burst on the scene he was productive but now he looks like he's just running up and down the court w/o a purpose......like he doesn't know where to go or what to do! Sure Harden is gone but so is D'antoni. I'm starting to wonder is it players or the COACHING?
Off balance falling down and throwing up off the glass. House Clearly depended too much off of Harden. Can't create his own shot, honestly loses balance and looks slower. Low IQ doesn't help either. Rafael Stone I think will reevaluate in keeping or trading House. The Rockets really need a High IQ Small Forward that can guard Speedy Point Guards. The next Draft especially will be needed to get a Starting Small Forward. 6'8, 6'9 Long Wingspan and Lateral Defense and Great Passing Skills, Create their own shot, can dribble.
So basically, we just need a SF that's athletic and really good at everything. That makes sense. I agree.
House had a very specific role under D'Antoni and Harden. Silas has expanded his role beyond his abilities and he has blown his own mind. SiLas wants 5 tool players but sometimes has trouble identifying them or empowering them too early. And Silas is a suck up to Vets.
I hate to say it because he's a nice guy but it seems to me like he's above his head. Really good assistant, not a good Head Coach.

He went from training camp MVP to a not-so-impressive first two preseason games. Is a contract extension still on the table? —Kerry P. Pecking order wise, I think he’s right there in the mix at the top of the second unit. That’s a solid group of athletic forwards right there — House, Tate, Martin and Gordon. He’ll get in the game around the same time Gordon does and when Theis goes to the bench to give Houston a different look. House is still a good player, those two games aside. The Rockets still value his overall skill set very highly. The first thing Silas noted after the loss to the Raptors was the lack of House’s spacing and his size. He’s going to be a big part of what they want to achieve this season. As far as the contract extension, I don’t see why it wouldn’t still be on the table. He wants to be in Houston, and the Rockets want him to be around.
