I'm going to disagree with your assessment here.

House should not be a starter.

And being patient while he works thru yet another FUBAR is unreasonable for a F up like House.

 

House has given me no reason to give him the benefit of the doubt

 

oh I’m not saying we shouldn’t try to replace him. He’s one of the worst starting SFs in the league. But he’s not THIS bad. He just needs to get back into his proper role.

 

He needs consistency.

We could have used House, Cousins for the full game for defensive rebounds and even Mac looking at our three point shooting tonight.

One game, hopefully we'll look at film and work on the three point shooting and rebounding.

 

Somehow even though I had heard that training camp for the next NBA season was to begin in December, it slipped my mind and I just happened to see that the Rockets lost to Dallas last night. So I got online to "catch up" on things.

I would say from past observation that when you have as many changes in roster, coach, and organization as the Rockets have had in the interim since the playoffs, it is to be expected that deciding on starting lineups and combinations is going to take some time.

Even with an established roster it can take up to 20 games or more to establish trends and combinations , and let players adapt to one another, find their roles and have those roles become more like second nature.

Considering all the changes, there is probably a "feeling out" on a lot of people's parts, including the coach with the players and players with other players. I say let's wait for that process to play out, as hard as it might be to watch. If there is any player or players on the team who really doesn't want to win, or needs to not start, etc., then I think those players will slide to their proper place. Rome wasn't built in a day.

 

This guy is a bum. I hate everything about him. Get him out.
