I have grown to HATE Clint Capela

Weak....ass....

 

Capela has been baby soft the whole playoffs, and he’s the underlying reason we lost today. Without him, our offense becomes iso and chucking threes. We pay him the big bucks to get outplayed by Looney? **** that.

 

Least favorite player right now on the squad.

 

If a team wants to eliminate what Clint does, they can. But, it should open up things up for someone else. For some reason the Rockets couldn't figure things out today. Very little rhythm on offense. The Warriors are good on defense when they are motivated, so I'm not saying it will be easy. But, if the Warriors are shutting down Clint, something else should be available on offense.

 

It's crazy how much better Nene looks than Capela.

Sort of. They're playing Clint like they did last year. They have Green hold him on the baseline and then basically let Durant, Bogut and Looney roam around to disrupt shots and play rim-protector.

The result was some open threes that our bench scrubs couldn't hit.

Correct. We shot 29% from three. People can b**** about Clint all they want, but he only took two shots. The Warriors were determined to prevent the dunks from Clint and they succeeded. But if the Rockets can't even shoot 30% from three, then I mainly blame our shooters.

 

Agreed. Capela could show at least a little fire, though. He wasn't ready for several passes thrown his way and wasn't looking great on the rebounding battles.

he’s the Ryan Anderson of this year. Can’t be trusted on defense and when he isn’t catching lobs he’s useless.

Morey needs to trade him for Ibaka or a real big that can defend.
