What a bunch of babies. The news about MDA comes out and you guys are trippin on me since I'm close. Again, a positive thread... short and to the point..right when I thought we needed it. And, now....the proof is indeed in the pudding...what with MDA likely gone...Here we go.
Sometimes hitting the reset button is what is needed to go further. I do personally think Harden is a top 5 player you couldn't get anything equivalent for and is untouchable. With him alone, you're guaranteed a playoff berth and probably a 50 win season on an "off" year. Watching the Warriors vs Clippers did make me wonder how much better the Rockets would have been with Harrell, Bev and Louu Will over CP3 in the 2nd round. Hindsight is always 20/20 though as the Rockets were a hamstring injury away from a Finals appearance and likely chip. That one season winning it would have totally made the max contract extension to him a less bitter pill to swallow. Still, just thinking of acquiring assets for CP3 that could fill out this rest of this roster and add depth is enticing. As do any other potential roster moves that could improve the Rockets. I just hope for a more productive off season than last year.
Morey - yes. Tilman - jury is still out - I don't like how he saved money this year, we have a very limited window with Harden, we should be ALL IN every year for hte next 3-4. DD
Uhhhhhhh, that impromptu press conference about the MDA contract extension just didn’t feel right. Guys, let’s all brace for impact. I don’t trust TILMAN at all.

This!!!!!! Tillman wonders why the Toyota Center is empty? Prove to us you are willing to spend. That 767 don't mean ****... it could possibly be his way of getting a private 767 at the Rockets expense. Ya the team uses it. He and his family might use it too. The discount 2018-2019 season probably just cost us the nba championship in the James Harden Era.
Morey cares for this franchise. For all his flaws, I am willing to give him couple of new chances. I dun like Tilman though, he might deserve your respect and support but I am really not feeling it. That is the only reason I temporarily side with MDA who I think isn't a championship caliber coach.
