 You guys are worse than Russian propaganda, because you actually believe what you're saying with all your guts

    Here's a timeline for you:
3 years of lowest salary in the NBA for an above average starter production.
Rockets DID NOT pick up his option for 4th year.
Cuban (not Parsons) decides to offer an offer sheet in a club where Parsons was at the time.
Rockets fans start **** talking campaign about and to Parsons on social media.
    Rockets DID NOT match.
Rockets fans ****talk about Parsons intesify.
    Parsons fires back "Unprovoked".

Do i think he is a p^ssy for the way he signed a contract? Yes i did. Did i talk **** to Parson or his family for leaving? No. So please explain me your rational as to why I personally wouldn't i be upset he decided to talk $hit about my city? How did i provoke him? please explain your logic because i can already tell that you are excellent at this. He should of directed the hate he had to those people not to the city. He is a coward.

It's not about opinion, or belief, it's about facts. You seem to not understand the NBA, how contracts, work, who benefited from what, etc...

    Let me educate you.

Chandler was a second round pick that got good guaranteed money for multiple years. This contract benefited him. Most second rounders flame out. He got guaranteed money.

This again was a move to benefit Parsons. Yes, the Rockets had a plan in mind whereby releasing Parsons also might have helped them (and, ultimately, it certainly did!), but Parsons had been angled for his option to not be picked up for months. Rockets did him a favor.

Can't blame Parsons for taking the bird in hand. But when you combine (i) the Mavs, (ii) how quickly it was done, (iii) all the extra stuff in the contract that made it even more expensive than the pure dollars, etc... it also didn't seem like a move in good faith by Parsons.

It's kind of like... "Chandler, we'll do you a solid and not pick up your option. Please don't go out and immediately sign the one contract that will make it virtually impossible for us to match, absent everything working out 100% in our favor"... and that's exactly what he did, LOL.

Rockets really couldn't match. Bosh fell through. And Parsons contract became just such a bad bad bad bad bad asset. Even without injury, Parsons wasn't living up to it, and it was/is putting Dallas in a bad spot. Morey knew this, Rockets fan knew this.

As can be expected, in the IMMEDIATE aftermath, there is some back and forth.

What wasn't expected, was the continued, months later, random digs by Parsons. Dude let it get to him. He even admitted to playing in the playoffs because it was Houston. He has an f'd up knee and because it's the Rockets, he is suiting up and hurting his team (he was horrible)?

Your point #1 is invalid/irrelevant. As a player, you're grateful for whatever entry level contract you get, and you play to earn your second one. That's just how it is.

Point 3, and by extension 5 and 6 are unsubstantiated.

And at any rate #4 wasn't done for personal reasons, because the team didn't like Parsons -- It was because they have a full roster to think about.

I don't think most people here have a vendetta against him. It's just fun things crash down on watch a role player who thinks he's a franchise player. A little humility goes a long way.

Who cares he declined as a player and he quit on his team after Ariza owned his ass the first two games of the playoffs. He's dead to me.

I think he's dead to a large portion of the Maverick's fan base as well.

This is really weird, because...just last night I had a dream that Chandler Parsons was playing for a different team (besides the Mavericks). I didn't know what team he was playing for, but remember thinking to myself that, well, I guess Cuban finally decided that the Parsons signing was a mistake, blew up the team, and decided to go a different route. I NEVER have dreams about basketball. Curiosity item only.

    Wrong, as usual.

Sure, there were people who talked crap about him on social media -- but there were plenty more who did not. IN MY OPINION, repeatedly dumping on an entire city because a few people who don't understand the CBA sent you mean tweets is fck boy behavior. Period. Most of the Rockets fans I know personally had no issue with him at all until then.

Looks like you're one of those "SMH'er" posters - Posters who only complain and "shake their head" about other posters opinions, trying to appear on the high ground but FAILING to provide a better perspective

Your timeline bit about Rockets "not picking up" Parsons 4th year option is wrong.

    - Parsons and his agent Dan Fegan ARM TWISTED the Rockets into declining the 4th year. ("We got you Dwight - but before that - GET us out that contract!)

    - For Rockets doing that, Parsons was to give back a LITTLE bit of good faith by giving Rockets a chance to match salary and bring him back

    - INSTEAD, Parsons BEFORE and DURING SIGNING starts WHINING about a "lack of respect" by Rockets not seeing him as a premiere All Star/"Third Star" player, undervaluing him. Making Rockets look like bad guys.

    - Parsons signs a deal thats basically an ultimatum to Rockets saying "If you dont meet my outrageous demands and escalated sense of worth, then YOU dont LOVE me". The Rockets dont "love him" by not matching

    - Parsons then uses it even MORE AGAINST the Rockets, turning it into more a PERSONAL agenda.

Its Parsons himself whos fueled the EMOTIONAL fire, when he coulda just kept it as business-not-personal. He was even more sleazy and underhanded as anything he accused the Rockets of doing.

Considering that its Parsons original deal was actually considered ABOVE average for a 2nd rounder but then he deemed it unfair later - he had it coming to him

Don't bother. This dude just comes around lightly trolling, spinning tales riddled with inaccuracies. It's pretty played out.
