    I can't remember a more PANNED draft selection (at least in the last 10 years) than Shabazz Muhammad. The t-wolves were ridiculed for making him their pick.

    Looks like the joke's on the league. The guy is looking every bit like a potential star.

    Great thread. He's still young and has time to develop his attitude. The tools for success are there, he just needs to learn how to use them and not be content with his talent alone.

    For this thread to make sense, two things have to be true:

    1. Everyone had to hate Shabbazz
    2. Shabbazz has to be playing amazingly

    You do realize Hasheem Thabeet was drafted in the last 10 years right? What about that dude the Cavs got 3rd? Not really sure if you're serious with your statement, lots of rookies got panned way more than Muhammad :confused:

    Panned before drafted:
    1) Thabeet (We got d beat memes, people were talking about him as a boom-bust guy and said he will either be a star or bum)
    2) Dion Waiters (nobody ever saw him workout or at draft camp, Cavs just picked him based on hype)
    3) Adam Morrison (White Larry? LOL)

    Panned after getting drafted:
    1) Royce White
    2) Waiters
    3) Morrison
    4) Thabeet
    5) Oden
    6) Anthony Bennett
    7) THomas Robinson

    etc etc etc

    Point is I don't get this thread, Muhammad got some hate but that's because his dad faked his age, people don't like it when you deceive them.

    You and Nook spend more time trying to dissect what.

    Thabeet, waiters, robinson, et al, were seen as bad picks. Nobody was attcking the organization with the same vitriol as minny got for drating Shabazz.

    Youand I can disagree with this point if you want, but people were just sickened by this when minny drafted him.

    You must not watch the draft much if you think the Shabazz Muhammad is the most panned draft selection in recent memory.

    However...he has outplayed expectations. Too bad he's hurt.
