I've been using this site for a while now, getting tons of vintage games...of course, it takes me hours to wait for just a couple seeds, but it's all worth it!

 

I'm getting 100kb+/sec right now on that SA game.

 

unfortunately, it is in rmvb format.

looks pretty good tho...except for that irritating lower banner from Raptors TV.
Im fixing that on my copy by converting it to mpeg2 and cropping the lower banner off

Wish I could find more games from that series...I already have the Finals from that year...woul dlove to find the rest of the WCFs.

heh....veeerry carefully

I load it into TMPG and crop the lower part out and convert it to mpeg2 all in one step...you have to strip the audio out and convert to wav since TMPG has trouble dealing with real audio...
Then I run it into another program to do a mastering run...that just increases the clarity of the video and muxes the audio in with it.

After that I may convert it to xvid in case anyone wants the cleaned up version without the banner.

 

Ahh....It all makes sense now. Thanks for clarifying that. I am slowly starting to catch up with all this technology. I recently bought a new computer and am wanting to see what this baby can do!
