I dont care what superficial outsider analysis (espn) say, based on what i saw this preseason, i see this team winning 35-40 games. Other than the draft picks we acquired, this is another #10-15 draft pick.
we are too young to get injured and our vets are one year contract, so they never will get injured this season
awwww aren't you optimistic! It's sweet to see. But constructed as it is we can expect fun competitive games most nights but we should end up with a draft pick between 4-8
Let go of Martin and other vets that have no future here (Delfino, Douglas) and then we'll be in the 25-30 win range
No way this team wins 40 games this year. Too young and inexperienced. Sure it would be fun watching our young guys ball but expect most of our season to be a mess.
Again, if we DID win 40, it'd mean something fairly awesome happened with some of our young guys - in which case it would be a GREAT result.
Kevin Martin will be gone by the trade deadline (February). Baring injuries, our team for the final 26 games of the season (assuming Kmart is traded exactly at the deadline) will be: Lin Lamb/Delfino Parsons PPatt Asik I think its pretty reasonable to assume that after KMart leaves, this team will have a lot of trouble winning games. I'm guessing maybe 5 wins after Kmart leaves which would mean this team would have to win 30 games before the trade deadline to meet the low end of your prediction. 30 wins at the trade deadline would put us 2 games above .500. I just don't see that happening.
Well something is already happening with one of the rookies. Terrence Jones is already showing that he belongs. Its a good start.
i think if asik gets injured, we're undoubtedly the second worst team in the league. im not wishing for it though.
