Look at how many good foreign players have come into the league in the last couple of years.

    Nowitski, Gasol, Stoyacavich, etc...etc..

All of these players are better fundamental players then most of the American players that have come into the NBA.

Only Battier would compare from a fundamental way from the last couple of years.

I think the American coaches are not teaching shooting, passing and team play, and it is almost better to draft a foreign player.

I WANT MING !!!! We have enough hot dogging American players, give me fundamentals baby !!!

We don't need a foreigner we just need someone that has fundamentals. I think there are a few of those kids out there somewhere.

    DaDakota-

I think you are right. The last time we had a lottery pick and picked a foreigner, I think it worked out pretty well for us. :)

And notice that when Hakeem became American, his game went on the decline.

Yeah that's exactly what we need...a guy whose name is harder to spell and pronounce than Wally Sczczczczczczczczczczczczczcerbiak's... a lot of people still can't even spell Eddie GriffIn... :).

I love the idea of the rockets getting a foreigner. Last year i was telling my brother this exact same thing. Lets face it, the foreing players know how to move and function without the ball. But come to think of it theres no way in hell a foreign player could adapt to Rudys hands- on-your-knees-while- other -guy-dribbles-off-his-feet system. But hey maybe theres a change on the horizon, and next summer, the idea of Rudy implementing a foreign player, whose etched with smooth fundamentals, basic cutting, and constant nylon-ripping, won't be so far fetched.
