I find it very hard for me to justify Rafer's game lately. I love his PG vision and mindset and everything else aobut him except his lousy shooting. It's been atrocious.

I think LakersPride is a tool but his thread about Battier did have one valid point, I think Shane should take all the shots instead of Rafer. At least for a while till Rafer spends more time after practice or something.

Grrr.If rafer could just bring the ball up the court and set up the offense, with penetration and dish, then he would be good. But No,he has to run up the court and shoot with 20 seconds left, those shots should be considered as turnovers,in the human calculator's stat data. How difficult is it,to pass the ball to yao and Tmac  ?
Rafer reminds me of those NBA commercials in 01' with Jason Kidd, in which he had to negotiate with some young kid that would not let go of the basketball.
"It's okay Alston, you can give me the ball" :)

Yet another stupid "Rafer sucks" thread after a loss.

As much as Rafer did play poorly, I chalk this up to the stars that make the big bucks. Tracy and Yao played poorly. They are our stars, and they get paid like our stars to carry the team when the "secondary role players" are not playing well.

Then again, it takes 5 baby...and only 1 or 2 showed up on our side of the ball.

If I could play point for the Rockets, you could probably do it to.

    Sincerely,
    Matt Maloney.

I will be at the game on Wed, we will see if I can save the day and find Bob and his pack of hot b******. Anybody know where Sura is at, he needs to rid the rockets of the strain of virus we like to call Rafer.

Here's the sad reality for you, Yugo.

    1) You're not better than Rafer.
    2) You're the only one here who isn't.

You have to be able to beat your imaginary friends before you take on real people.

What PG vision? He jacks up shots he has no business taking and turns the ball over at some of the most oppotune times. He allowes Smush Parker to pressure him into turning the ball over and throwing inbound passes back out of bounds. Those kinds of brain farts are not the kind of displays of vision I want at PG.

I really don't understand why Jeff doesn't just tell Rafer to NEVER SHOOT A 3 unless the ball has been passed back out and/or the Shot Clock is running out... and for GOD's SAKE, NO MORE TURD DROP SHOTS AS HE DRIVES TO THE BASKET!!!!!
