How did the legendary Gene Peterson and Jim Foley go out when they called their last game? Also wondered what they as well as Bill Worrell on local TV were saying at the end of certain games like Game 7 of the 2007 First Round (I know... Ugh) or game 5 of '05 when Stern gave it to Yao, and I especially want to know how they called the shot by John Stockton in '97 because I know how much JP disliked those teams (look at the clock incident in '94 he was incensed!) I always wanted to know how they called it on the other end since we always hear the highlights of when they were winning. Anybody remember? Not trying to put us in a dark place but I was always curious.
Now that I re-read this, I remember the last thing said was Gene dramatically doing something like, "In the words of Roy Rogers: "Happy trails to you. Until we meet again." (true)
