Fair, and I don't mean Ariza's current contract, I mean Ariza's general value. They are completely different players with completely different roles, but I'm comparing them in the sense that they're great complementary wing players, not really cut out for a 6th man or lead role that justifies Eric Gordon market value or better. For whatever reason, Parsons' sense of entitlement to a max contract has always irked me.
