Names are more important than it being a good movie to sell to the public. That's why lesser stars get bigger money offers to do straight to video movies.

He'll be 45 in 2 months. I would think 2 more movies, at most.

IIRC, the real issue is him being away from his family. He's said before that the key to a successful marriage is not being away for too long , or something like that. I think it was something his dad said to him in response to Jackman's mother leaving them, when he was a kid.

So, I do think he will turn it down.

Marvel Studious (Avengers) is the one that tries to screw the actors by not paying them. Whoever runs X-Men (Fox? Sony? I forget) doesn't have such a bad reputation.

So basically he has 3-5 years of prime left b/c once you get in that 50 range, its over. Well...not over, but the age becomes obvious. Pitt doesn't try to be a sex symbol anymore b/c he can't. He looked like he was in his 30's forever. Now his age is obvious.

Same with Depp who has been disgusting looking with big bulky hats and nasty facial hair to cover up his aged face for a while now. The baby face is gone he looks his age.
Clooney is probably the best example. Ears all big and saggy. Face all droopy. Hair fully white now.
Mans physical prime is 35-48 when you're old enough to look like a real man and still be highly attractive and yet not old enough to look like a grandpa. Womans prime is 15-20 with college, 25-27 without college.

I could see Lautner playing him, if he bulked up some more and really committed himself to the acting, but he probably can't grow much facial hair.

RD Jr is worth his weight in gold for the Iron Man / Avengers movies. Anyone else in the role and you could lop off at least 40% of the box office.

T-Mac should focus on an acting career now. I think he'd be a great black logan.

I'm not sure he'd be able to pull off a believable healing factor...
