At the end of the day, it is still a regular season game. A win is a win, a loss is a loss.

I am assuming you never had back problems? One day, it is a cramp; the next day, it is seriously hurt. Not even considering that Dwight had back surgery; that just adds more incentive to rest it.

If there is even a 1% chance that his back will get hurt because of this cramp, he should sit out. Back problems are nothing to mess with, and is definitely not worth a regular season game.

I agree. I've had back act up and it literally dropped me to the ground without warning. For almost two weeks it was hard to sit down much less do anything else. I would be disappointed if DH doesn't play b/c I'm going to the game and would love to see the matchup but in the big scheme of things, Dwight getting proper rest for his back is the right thing to do if it is still bothering him tomorrow.

    Same here.

It is very easy to injure your back when it is spasmic like this.

I did my back about 3 years ago.

Worst pain I've ever felt. Pain was blinding.

Took a long time to recover and that was with not doing anything physical
    like playing pro-basketball.

If he doesn't feel comfortable he needs to rest. It's a big regular season game but it's still just a regular season game.

It's actually not all that important a regular season game compared to many others. Specifically, it's a non-conference game so the impact on the standings, tiebreakers, etc. are minimal.

This made me laugh hard. LOL! Kidding aside, I hope Dwight rests his back. Let Asik get some burn. Rockets needs him in the playoffs. Diva or not, Rockets needs everybody to be in tip-top shape.

Truth be told i rather they both not play at all. The playoff stretch is coming and we are more or less locked into a top 8 spot based on the trajectory we have.

There is no pride lost in not playing the Heat or any team for that matter as a W is a W and a L is a L regardless of who you play rivalry or not.

Think long term, Howard and Harden are needed healthy.

I've had the same pain. Even while sleeping, you'll feel pain. The only cure for me is to exercise my back muscles diligently with low weights. My therapist recommended some good exercises to alleviate and eventually get the pain out of my system. I don't know if it's the same as yours though...

Rockets trainers should help with this by having them work their backs every day, with more and more weight. Make their backs really strong.

Just don't look at the boxscore for Lin's numbers. Also set to ignore all his fans. Slowly, he'll fade from your mind.

The cure for a sore back is to apply some Heat. I am sure after we win, all the soreness will go away.
