Goran would not be the first brother to get his brother a job. This is normal. Could Goran still want to pursue a championship on another team? Absolutely. Him being in another uniform has everything to do with Phoenix and what they want to do. Don't forget that they just PAID a player to a long term contract that plays his best position.
After 20 years, this is what it's come to, eh? How about a wager? If the Rockets don't trade for a significant upgrade at PG by the trade deadline, I'll never post in the GARM again...NEVER, EVER AGAIN. If they do, then you can't post for 1 year. Deal?
Well, it's not just a pick you'd trade for him. Also, I think Morey and their GM have a good relationship going, scratch my back type of thing...it could be a situation where they take it easy on us in exchange for Morey giving them something else in the future.
Had a professor in Geology class walk in the first day and predict a major earthquake would hit during the semester. He was right. Why? Probability of course. He knew the overwhelming odds were in his favor based on the data at hand. He was no mystical chico figure. Betting that Morey will make a significant trade at the deadline is within a similar set of probabilities. The real limb to climb out on would be him sticking pat with this lineup throughout the course of the year.
There's no doubt that the Rockets are going to trade to upgrade one their 2 weakest positions sooner rather than later. Morey has made major moves every single year, and is due for one after the blue balls this summer gave us. It doesn't take an insider to know this. Edit: studogg said it better.
Then why don't we just amend that to the original 4 I spoke of 2 months or so ago..... It has to be a deal for..... Dragic Bledsoe Rondo Rubio CometsWin?
Since McDonough is GM of the Suns the two franchises haven't made a trade, so right now there's no existing relationship between them. And even if there was you might help him clear some space when he needs it or be a third party in a bigger trade, but you most certainly don't trade one of the cornerstones of your team for mediocre asset, that will most likely result in a role player a few years in the future.
Plowman, you know my affinity for gogi, if this happens I would be the happiest I could be. Beverly/harden/dragic could all work together, it is so perfect, small ball with those three, Ariza and Dwight, would be incredible.
You're right, i got their President and GM mixed up, but Morey and McDonough do have a relationship going back to Boston.
Well this is a dumb thread....Obviously, people would love it but obviously it is not going to happen.
