No problem. Zhou is who we are wanting to match up with Durant.

Enough with the stupid comebacks....hearing that Hakeem is going to work with Qi in a similar manner as he did with Capela.

I think you need to go on Facebook and watch a G League game. It's vastly improved from a competition standpoint. G League games are so much bigger than college.

Yes, some of the rotations on D are poor (and ouside the NBA you can't find it), but G league players aren't allowed to play zone. It's pretty easy to pick up on who is an NBA rotation player.

Qi is one of those and his upside is not simply because he's tall. He shows basketball IQ, has touch, timing, and great form on his shot. It's easy to see he doesn't have the NBA body, but he's made good strides on that since the early Draftexpress videos.

Now that said, is he an all-star or the key to beating GS? LOL. No way. But he's an intruiging young player and every GM would kill to have one of those. Remember, he was round 2, pick 43. That's 13 teams passing in the 2nd round.

His stroke looks pretty good and seems to be adjusting to the pace of the NBA game very well. If he can hit that outside shot consistently, make those nifty passes in traffic at a high percentage, provide adequate rebounding and defense, then he might actually crack the rotation this year.

The impression I get from him is of a rubbery, more defensive minded Nowitzki, so more of a 4 than a 5. Seems like a really exciting prospect and another Morey home run.

He is obviously in the plans

Even played in non garbage time with injuries to others.

    He will be pretty good.

Not starter good but very useful rotation guy sooner rather than later.

He may have to grow fast if Cap is grades for another star...

So, if he gets in the rotation and we're playing the Dubs.....who do you think he's checking?

I would put him on Durant and that is his likely assignment if it were to happen.

Draymond would bully him imo and since he seems a bit weak minded and timid I feeel dray would get in his head and nullify him easily.

He doesn't have the speed to keep up with Durant, but does have the length and pretty good foot speed to recover. So he would better contest any type of pull up shot than close to anyone else on the team imo

That being said, I agree with you he will be groomed as a future 5

Let me put it this way for you; any scrub nba player will put up monster games in the gleague. The nba is faster and much more physical, so a lot of his smart actions won’t successfully translate over. Now I’m not saying he won’t succeed as I believe he has the ability to be our backup pf/c, but people who aside he will be a star make me laugh.

The problem more than anything is . . . the REFS WOULD ALLOW it . ..
While I think he would be decent . .. REFS would Allow Draymond to simply run him over
then call Chee for a foul
