If he has a decent weight trainer then he can develop nice.

I liked the lateral quickness and the coordination for someone his size. Maybe it’s foolhardy to pencil him in as a stretch four shooter at this point; just let him eat 15,000 calories a day and continue gaining confidence in the D league. Success in the D league is not a great predictor of success in the NBA, but failure there is a pretty good indication of failure in the majors. I.e., low PPV high NPV.

I really liked his dribble drives this last game. He could shred up Centers with that skill, but his feet might be too slow to penetrate on forwards.

I have been dying to see him run pick and rolls with CP3/James. Just one time I wish Mike would throw him in at C with legitimate teammates around him. More rolling, less popping for threes. I really want to see how he handles lobs and pocket passes.

Okay, this is clearly his best showing. His game translates.

I wouldn't take away anything from a G-League game. The competition there is terrible. In the NBA, players are quicker and stronger. They close out faster. They push you around harder. I think Zhou Qi will turn out to be a solid role player, but that won't happen until he puts on a lot more muscle mass.

The G League is of course less talented than the NBA but it's better than college and the Chinese league

Nice block as he always did.
And that pass to Harden was amazing.
And...finally! I always know he can make 3s!

I was kind of looking and I agree.
I am now officially in the mind that he needs more minutes
with the 2nd team and maybe the 1st team

I think time with GARBAGE MAMBA is counter productive
I don't think anyone should play with GARBAGE MAMBA

Speed, strength and stamina is what Qi really needs to work on. If he can become as quick as Ryan Anderson, he can become a useful role player in time.
