    1) Another playmaker to spell Harden when he gets into a mind freeze.
    2) A good enough pg who can defend and spell Bev.
    3) A backup C who can play in the clutch when other teams hack Dwight and kill our flow.
    4) A PF that can hold his own against other threats in the league.

The FT situation is pathetic and a showstopper. Might not be a fixable problem...

Teamwise, I like that we kept everyone for better chemistry and stability (mostly because of the cap situation...). I think we need better or more assistant coaches though. Something to help them get better plays away from Harden and plays that earn trust and better shot selection that boosts 3pt %.

in light of your sig, may i ask,,, where are those play-makers, backup 5 and pf's we can look for? any names? and how can we acquire them without gutting the core of the team?

i guess if any of us knows the answer, we'd all make the gm of the team and replace morey. :)

Only if Harden shows up for the playoff.

And we have better sg and center out of all the west playoff teams it's not close. We can play that what if game too. Besides Durant we got the best overall player every time we face any west playoff team also.

I am glad you would takeour rotation over every rotation you just listed. However, reality is that every series with the exception of the first round our bigs excluding Dwight were outplayed. Draymond destroyed us on the boards and shut smith and jones down on offense. Yall also need to remember DMO has zero playoff experience, none! Regular season and playoffs are two different beasts. Take jones for example. Jones plays well in the regular but has crapped out in the playoffs two seasons in a row. Teams in the playoffs figure out your tendacies, find your weaknesses, and exploit them. You can't say that pf wasn't a weakness in the playoffs because it was with or without DMO.

Warrior Won 8 games v. 1 during the entire season. I am not worried, it's not like they Won 9 games or something :(

Our bugs were outplayed for the first half of the Clippers series. Griffin quieted down after game 4. And I'm not saying it's not a weakness. Just saying a lot of people are over playing it and I feel like getting a starting PG and a backup SG will make this team better than filling a "hole" that's really not that big of a deal. Plus, no one knows how much Jones or DMo can improve this offseason. But that could be said for anyone on any roster.

Green and Bogut are allowed to foul and set moving picks (illegal screens). Dmo sneezes too hard and it's a foul.

As currently constructed, they can't beat either team unless dmo becomes a star.

Down Howard and Jones half the season. Down two starters going into the playoffs. Still made it to the conference finals. Health and chemistry is our key to success this season. I hope we bring Smith back (on the cheap), I think we can still hang. The ONLY thing I think we really desperately need is a playmaking pg...Dragic would have been fantastic with this team. :(

So you suggest a bench made up of players at each position good at both sides of the ball and as good other teams starters. Not a bad idea!

I couldn't agree more. In fact, this is probably my favorite post of the offseason. Well done.

This. I mean we don't have stars but we have two starting caliber pfs. I would say 3 but a tjones trade is most likely in the works. No point in the 3 pfs as someone is gonns be disgruntled very soon.

mchale is great when it comes to chemistry-related stuff. in game, pop and kerr will run circles around him. mchale is always reactive instead of proactive and it seems like we need to be losing by 15-20 points for him to make needed in-game changes. there were too many times where the other teams would have obvious mismatches that mchale wouldn't adjust to. on the flip side, there were too many times where we had a matchup advantage on offense that we didn't take advantage of. the nba revolves around matchup exploitation and we rarely do that.

    Git it dun, Mory. :p

I'm hoping chemistry can make us stronger on offense and passing. If I had to choose between 1 and 4, we really need an above average playmaking guard.

Adam Silver allows teams to decline free throws after an off-the-ball foul.
