I dont smoke pot, but I could care less what someone else does in the privacy of their own home or on their own time as long as it doesnt affect their job performance
I have ran a call center with over 80 employees and I did the hiring and firing no drug tests ever. Didn't run back ground checks either. As long as they were legal to work in the U.S. and met the requirements of the job it was all good. Believe me I know some of them smoked and partied after work but making sure people don't mess up your company is something that you would have to worry about regardless if the person smoked or not. I just don't see where people assume that someone that smokes pot is going to do a worse job than a guy who downs a couple of six packs after work or doesn't do anything at all. Hell, anyone can be an idiot with or without drug use.
I just got hired at Bush IAH (Houstons main airport for those who don't live here) I haven't smoked pot since December 27th and I have to submit to a drug test in about a week to get my security clearance from HMSHOST. I went to my local smokeshop and got some detox called Purified Instant Acting whole body cleanser. I'm supposed to take it 2 hours before the test, drink a ton of water, piss at least 3 times before I take the test, and I should be good. The drink has creatine in it btw. I also bought 1000mg pills of Vitamin C to add color to my urine so it won't come up dilute, 500 mg pills of no flush Niacin, pure 100% cranberry juice, herbal green tea, i've been exercising to try and burn off the THC (Im pretty scrawny, 5'11 135 lbs), also put towels in under my bathroom door and close the vents and put the water on high to basically replicate a sauna and sweat my ass off in my bathroom. Anyone have any tips? It's been about 2 1/2 weeks and I have an extremely high metabolism. Should I be okay?
I'm no scientist, but I do know that the THC is stored in your fat cells, and you're pretty scrawny so I think you'll be okay. I have a friend who is larger than you (but with a similar metabolism) and he's usually clean after a week and a half. Make sure you stop working out 2 days or so before the test so you don't have any freshly burned THC working its way through your system.
Looks like you have it mostly covered. You should just buy one of those home test kits if you want to make sure.
It couldn't hurt. And if you want to be burning fat, don't just do cardio, LIFT. That's just general advice...especially considering your weight.
